Why Baked Oysters Support Fertility Health
When aiming to enhance fertility, Baked Oysters offer a nutrient-rich choice that supports reproductive well-being. For instance, oysters are an excellent source of zinc, a mineral crucial for hormone production and reproductive health. Additionally, the Parmesan cheese adds calcium, which supports healthy hormone levels and overall reproductive function. Furthermore, the garlic and herbs contribute antioxidant properties that help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, both of which are important for maintaining a balanced hormonal environment. By incorporating Baked Oysters into your diet, you enjoy a flavorful and convenient way to boost your fertility and overall health, making them a valuable addition to any fertility-focused meal plan.
Ingredients
- 12 raw oysters
- ⅛ cup bread crumbs
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ⅛ cup grated parmigiano reggiano
- 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ tsp sweet paprika
- 1/2 tsp pepper to taste
- hot sauce (optional)
Directions
- Wash and finely chop all the herbs
- Grate the Parmesan cheese.
- Get out your supplies for use:
- a measuring cup
- a measuring teaspoon
- oven mitts
- aluminum foil or coarse salt
- a 9×13″ baking dish
- a small mixing bowl
- Heat the oven to 475°F. Using a baking dish 9×13 inches, line it with coarse salt or crinkled tin foil.
- Arrange the washed oysters on the pan, flat side up so the juices won’t run out and gently place them in the oven.
- While they cook, get a mixing bowl and add the bread crumbs, lemon juice, parmesan, dill, parsley, sweet paprika, and pepper and mix well.
- When the oysters open, remove them from the oven and, keeping the oven mitt on, take a knife and remove the upper shell.
- Now, fill the oysters with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place them back into the oven until golden brown (about 5-7minutes)
- Top with hot sauce (if using) and enjoy!
