Spirulina Smoothie
Spirulina is rich in Antioxidants, like Beta-Carotene and Vitamin E, as well as vitamins and minerals like iron, magnesium, zinc, selenium as well as gut-promoting probiotics, all of which support fertility health. As well, this Spirulina Smoothie contains all the nutrients you are looking for during your fertility journey. And more to that, it is rich in Omega 3 fatty acids as well as healthy fats, proteins and carbs! It’s delicious, easy to make and supports your fertility health.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen tropical fruit (pineapple, mango)
- 1 cup cow’s milk, almond milk or oat milk (I use cow’s milk)
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 2 tsp shelled sunflower seeds
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp Blue-green Spirulina powder
- Add water to desired thickness
Directions
- Add the ingredients to a high speed blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Enjoy immediately
